central library at twilight
books and windows (lomo)

one of those days at the library yesterday where i had to force myself to stop looking. either i find nothing on the shelves or i find more than i can carry—it's an endless toss-up here in brooklyn.

the system here has some odd quirks: requesting books online takes some time to show up in one's account, sometimes resulting in multiple copies requested; doing anything on one's account requires the repeated input of last name, 14-digit library card number, and pin number; books routinely go missing on the shelves; if a requested book can't be found, it will just disappear from the person's list…

i'm jealous of well-organized libraries.

i finally got the old chronicles archives back up, mostly so i wouldn't have to go find all the old links to its pages hiding around the site. (no plans yet for the broken links hidden within the now-restored chronicles entries.)

old fans may recognize it as a slight retelling of the autumn 2001 design.
